    ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES & PERMITTING

.At the core of any development process are environmental challenges posed by changes in land use. CCL is fully conversant in Florida’s environmental regulations governing land development. We routinely perform Phase I & II investigations accompanying development, as necessary. Our team also can perform wetland delineations. CCL’s staff is fully versed in the wetland regulatory programs, mitigation guidelines and monitoring procedures, and we can assist in the negotiations with the regulatory agencies. Further, CCL is regularly involved in wildlife assessments for both state and federal agencies during the DRI process. Wildlife permitting and wildlife relocation are services offered during environmental review. Estuarine, upland, freshwater, and other habitat studies are often necessary during the DRI process. CCL has conducted or participated in many of these studies. Tree inventories are often prepared by our staff in conjunction with arboreal set-asides in land development. Also, archeological assessments are frequently an outgrowth of the review process in Florida. Over the years, CCL has been involved in projects containing archeological sites. We have experience in working with specialty consultants in the protection and preservation of archeological areas.
