provided surveying, engineering
and landscape architecture services for the prestigious Greg Norman designed
Great White Golf Course located in Dade County,
Florida, The Doral Hotel and Spa’s requirements for consulting services
included a ‘fast track’ schedule in anticipation of an extensive marketing
campaign and well publicized tournament. CCL’s involvement included a ground
and aerial Photogrammetric survey of the 130+ acre existing course. Our
Engineering Department provided solutions to drainage issues and worked closely
with the
Greg Norman Design Group, Dade County Engineering Dept., South Florida Water
Management District (SFWMD) and Metro Dade County Environmental Resources
Management (DERM). Additional engineering services included: stormwater
management design, construction plans and permit acquisition, as-built and
resident project representation. Landscape services included a Vegetation Survey
to ensure protection of specimen trees and coordination with
DERM for a Tree Removal Permit. The successful completion of the golf course is
attributed to CCL’s Team approach.
