James Hamilton

 

James A. Hamilton, III, P.S.M. is Director of Survey for the Pompano Beach Survey Department. In addition to his supervisory and administrative responsibilities, he reviews field survey data for compliance with standards. Mr. Hamilton has four decades of experience covering all aspects of surveying. As a former crew chief he performed numerous ALTA/ACSM Land Title, topographic and hydrographic surveys. Additionally, Mr. Hamilton has provided survey layout for drawbridge and other heavy construction projects as well as roadway and subdivision construction. Mr. Hamilton’s Southeast Florida roadway experience includes route surveys for the preparation of FDOT and right-of-way maps and construction stakeout for private and public Clients in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. In addition to Mr. Hamilton’s CCL responsibilities, he has been an officer for the Broward County Florida Surveyors and Mappers Society for the past five years; his most recent position was President of the Broward Chapter.
